Overview
The Playful Caterpillar Robot is an interactive robotic toy designed to encourage toddlers in their early walking stages. The robot moves in a segmented, caterpillar-like motion, combining playful aesthetics with gentle mobility cues to motivate children to stand, balance, and walk toward it. Through integrated sensors and responsive movement, the robot adapts to a toddler’s proximity, providing both engagement and safe encouragement. The design emphasizes playfulness, ensuring that the robot functions as both a developmental aid and an enjoyable companion.
